my feet look purple there.

i'm gonna take pictures of the sun rising. it'll be here soon. i'm searching for the mouse in goodnight moon and drinking tea and that's all i've got. i'm not even a little bit sleepy.

it's summertime.

i love this season so much. i would list everything i love about it but i've probably already done that. just not in list form.

i know this sounds funny but, this will be my first summer home. i've always been in dracut, massachusetts or epping, new hampshire where it's pretty and green and not as hot. i think it will be okay though. i'm pretty positive. i've got a lot to look forward to.

i put my feet in raintree lake last night and the water was really warm. i wanna go swimming.

ps. have a wonderful summer okay? goodbyee

dear today,

you were cold and rainy and it was sort of nice. you're good sleeping weather.

a rain drop fell on my head this afternoon and i could feel it slidding down my hair. it was weird feeling. you know when your grandpa does that "crack the egg on your head" thing and it kind of tickles? that's what it felt like. i've been doing a lot of things lately like reading and sleeping. and not doing things like homework or anything school related. my grades are really suffering. but, i am still passing and school's almost over. so, oh well, i guess.

i guess.

the only thing there is to eat in my house is boxed pasta salad, vanilla pudding, and baby carrots. there's plenty of all three of those things. so, come have dinner with me. it'll be good.

love,
kaylynn

iron and wine was absolutely wonderful. i carved my initials on the stage and i was in perfect view of sam beam and the rest of the band. and i sang and danced and it was lovely.

it's supposed to frost tonight while we sleep. i had to put plastic bags over my little tomato, strawberry, and lettuce plants to keep them from freezing. my family's out at the lake house this weekend. looks like it's just me, kitty, and refrigerator humming noises tonight.

it's late. i think i'll make some tea.

goodnight.
